Game Day Meets Men’s Health at UNLV Tailgate & Testing
October 3, 2026 - Las Vegas, Nevada
Before UNLV took on Cal at Allegiant Stadium on October 3, Man Cave Health joined the game-day experience with an opportunity for fans to take care of their health. Working with UNLV Athletics, we organized Tailgate & Testing to bring free PSA screening and prostate cancer awareness directly to the people gathering for the game.
Fans and men from both schools stopped by to support the work, learn more about Man Cave Health and, most importantly, get screened. A day built around football also became an opportunity to have a conversation about health and take action.
Making screening part of the game day experience
This is what we mean when we talk about meeting men where they already are. At Allegiant Stadium, screening became part of an experience fans had already made time for. They could support their team and make time for themselves in the same visit.
Sports bring people together through shared interests and a sense of belonging. Partnerships like this give us an opportunity to bring health resources into those spaces and make taking the next step more convenient.
UNLV Athletics helped make that connection possible, bringing Man Cave Health into a setting where we could reach fans from both sides of the matchup. Their collaboration gave us a way to introduce our mission to people who were there for the game and invite them to participate.
Thank you to UNLV Athletics, everyone who helped make the screening possible and the UNLV and Cal fans who stopped by. Bringing men’s health into game day is one way we can make care more accessible and keep the conversation going.
