Sports, Community and Men’s Health Come Together in Arlington

September 19, 2026 - Arlington, Virginia

On September 19, Man Cave Health brought free PSA screening and men’s health engagement to The Ritz-Carlton, Pentagon City, during the Focal Therapy Society and Society of Urologic Robotic Surgeons Joint Meeting.

Working with the Focal Therapy Society and NFLPA DC Chapter, we had the opportunity to engage men from Washington, DC, Maryland and Virginia in a setting that brought medical expertise, sports and community together.

The people behind the conversation

Former NFL players Claude Harriott and Eddie Mason joined James Williams of the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network, who previously served as chief of staff to Congressman John Lewis. Their participation brought perspectives from professional sports and public service into an event focused on men’s health and early detection.

The energy in the room was incredible, and the feedback we received reinforced the value of creating opportunities like this. Alongside screening, the gathering created space for connection that we can build on throughout the DMV.

Building relationships across the DMV

For Man Cave Health, relationships are essential to making health information and resources accessible. Working with people and organizations already connected to a community helps us create settings where men feel welcome and can take a step toward caring for themselves.

We are grateful to the Focal Therapy Society, NFLPA DC Chapter, Claude, Eddie, James and everyone who helped bring this event to life. Thank you to the men from across the DMV who joined us and made the afternoon such a positive experience.
