Uniting for a Cause: The 4th Annual Milana Family Foundation Luncheon and Its Impact on Men’s Health

The 4th Annual Charity Luncheon hosted by the Milana Family Foundation at the iconic Rao’s in East Harlem was more than just a gathering. It was a moment of reflection, commitment, and action. Held on March 12, 2025, the event brought together an incredible group of supporters, donors, and community leaders united by one powerful cause: saving lives through early detection of prostate cancer.

Each year, this intimate luncheon serves as a vital touchpoint for Man Cave Health. The funds raised at this year’s event will directly fuel the organization’s mobile screening initiatives, virtual support groups, and expansion into underserved communities where access to critical care is often limited.

“Every year, this luncheon reminds me why we started — to make sure no man walks through prostate cancer alone. The people in this room are the reason we’re changing lives,” said Tom Milana, Founder of the Milana Family Foundation and Chairman of Man Cave Health.

The afternoon also included powerful speeches from survivors, supporters, and healthcare partners, offering heartfelt testimonials of the impact of early detection and the importance of community support in the fight against prostate cancer. From the launch of mobile testing vans to the establishment of additional virtual support groups, the organization’s reach is rapidly expanding, but the need continues to grow. “This isn’t just a lunch. It’s a movement,” said Chris Masters, Executive Director of Man Cave Health. “One conversation, one screening, one saved life at a time. With the energy and commitment behind this cause, we can take our mission to every corner of the country.”

The event was a testament to the deep, ongoing support for this cause, with a diverse group of special guests, including healthcare professionals, business leaders, and advocates who have been instrumental in ensuring Man Cave Health can reach more men at risk. Their presence underscored the unwavering dedication to the mission and the power of community. It was a reminder that the work is not just about statistics, but about the real lives that are changed when men are empowered with knowledge and access to care.

This year’s luncheon was made possible through the generous contributions of Rao’s, the Milana Family Foundation, and a coalition of passionate partners.

Man Cave Health is changing the landscape of men’s health by focusing on early detection, emotional support, and access to care for men facing prostate cancer and other health issues. This event marked another milestone in a mission that is touching lives, transforming communities, and saving lives.
