The 10th Annual Milana Family Foundation Golf Event, proudly sponsored by BasePoint Capital, marked a remarkable milestone—celebrating a decade of generosity, impact, and unwavering commitment to saving lives through early detection and access to care.
Friends, families, board members, and community supporters gathered on June 9, 2025 at Fresh Meadow Country Club for an unforgettable day of championship golf, signature cocktails, an elegant reception, and a spirited auction featuring luxury vacations and exclusive memorabilia. But beyond the celebration was a deeper purpose: to raise critical funds for Man Cave Health and the fight against prostate cancer—a disease that remains one of the leading causes of death among men.
What began as a bold idea—to make men’s health approachable, accessible, and effective—has evolved into a powerful national movement. That vision, championed by Tom Milana, has grown into something extraordinary, thanks to his relentless passion and the unwavering support of a committed community.
Over the past decade, Man Cave Health has:
- Partnered with world-class health systems across the country
- Delivered thousands of free PSA screenings to men in underserved communities
- Taken its mission to golf courses, racetracks, football fields, and corporate stages
- Launched an innovative fleet of mobile testing vans to bring care directly to men—wherever they are
This year’s event also held special significance. Due to a heartbreaking breast cancer diagnosis, funds were additionally devoted to the Dubin Breast Center of The Tisch Cancer Institute at Mt. Sinai, where Adriana Milana—a passionate advocate and survivor—now serves proudly on the advisory board.
Keynote speaker Dr. Phillip Koo, Chief Medical Officer of the Prostate Cancer Foundation, inspired attendees with his powerful message on the importance of innovation, collaboration, and keeping patients at the center of care. As one of the world’s most respected physicians in prostate cancer research and treatment, Dr. Koo’s presence underscored the profound impact partnerships like this can make.
