Saturday, September 28th was an incredible day in Harlem at Salem United Methodist Church, where Man Cave Health & Cancer ABC’s partnered with many other wonderful organizations to shine a spotlight on the importance of men’s health.
304 free PSA tests were administered by OPKO Health/Bioreference Laboratories
BOOM! Health provided 25 free HIV tests and Hep C tests, and well as a lot of HIV prevention education materials.
Drs. Reddy & Dovi from The Department of Urology at Mount Sinai Health System spent the day with us answering questions and addressing any concerns people had.
A team of nurses from Mount Sinai provided free blood pressure checks for everyone in attendance.
Dr. Hal Abramson performed free diabetic foot check-ups.
Wendy Liebowitz, MPh, PhD performed depression, anxiety and substance abuse screenings.
Ray Mercer, 1988 Olympic Gold Medal Boxer & former heavyweight contender and Tony Richardson, former Fullback for the Jets greeted the crowd and signed autographs.
